Lead Generation is something every business needs and it’s a topic I am very passionate about and it. It’s something every business in the world needs. It’s the lifeline to a successful business. I’ve found the most efficient way for most businesses to generate leads is using Facebook Ads since you can get so specific on the person you want to target.
In marketing, lead generation is guiding consumer interest or inquiry into products or services of a business. An incoming list of qualified leads is priceless to your company. Whether you’re a brick and motor businesses or an online business… designing a lead generation system is a must. First of all, it’s cheap to build and works great for every kind of business.
Two reasons why Lead Generation is so important:
- Cost-efficiency: Getting someone’s email is much less stressful and cheaper than trying to close a cold prospect right away. It’s a way to start building a relationship with a potential customer. Think of your relationship with someone you want to turn into a customer in terms of dating for a moment. When you first meet someone, it’s doubtable you’ll immediately ask them to be your boyfriend/girlfriend, right? Even if you did the response probably wouldn’t be very promising. You’ll want to talk to the person, ask them on a date, and get to know each other. During this process, you both find out if you are both compatible and then maybe you’ll continue the relationship. It’s the same with online sales. You talk to your users with a blog post, video, article, or a Facebook Ad. You get to know each other through the lead generation process and, if it’s a fit, they’ll become customers and both of you receive value in the relationship.
- Brand Awareness and Loyalty: Question, who would you rather buy from-
- An unfamiliar brand that shows you an ad that pushes their product or services at you.
- A brand you’ve seen many times, that has constantly provided you valuable information for free and invested time into a relationship with you.
#2 right? You also see that people who engage with your Facebook ads or other content will have a higher lifetime value than customers who bought your product or service without an underlying relation.
Example of a New Facebook Lead Generation Campaign for a Client of mine:
LTV (Lifetime value) on average for each of my client’s clients: $1500
These are the results from 2 weeks of the lead generation campaign being active. The Facebook Ad Sets consist of showing cold traffic an attractive offer ad which then guides them to go from Facebook to a landing page to claim the offer. From 21 Leads, he’s gotten, 8 new clients. Meaning a 38% conversion from lead to customer. $173.89 for PLTV (Potential Lifetime value) of $10,000+, not bad.
